Handshake

Japan-

Meet: Handshake is appropriate when meeting, limp with little to no eye contact. A bow is acceptable when showing respect.

Depart: Use the phrase "Bye-bye", waving open palm left and right, and the eshaku bow.

Accept a gift: Accept with both hands and slight bow. Frequently given at the end of the first business meeting.

Sharing business Cards: Japanese may exchange business cards before shaking hands. Make sure business cards show your rank.

Mexico-

Meet: Men shake hands, or hug if they are more familiar with the person. Women pat each other on right forearm or shoulder. Do not appear irritated.

Business Dress; Dress as you would in Europe. Men should wear dark colored suits, and Women should wear business or conservative suits.

Accept gift: Open gift and react enthusiastically.

Sharing Business Cards: Exchanged during the beginning of the meeting.

Accept a gift: It is common to receive chocolate or flowers when inviting someone into your home.

Tipping:It is not mandatory, but the common percentages are 10% or 12.5%
